So if you want to see snow, you'll have to go North, I guess? Or does it work like that also there?
I used to also like winters, but... really just enjoy hot weathers more.
It will be funny to go back to Southeast Asia's +35'C weathers in the summer - we'll see if I still like hot after that ;)
But it will be Moomin War Free Zone at least :P
I think part of the problem in the UK is that we are an island surrounded by sea air, so that can hinder snow. The mountain areas still get some lovely snow, but not as much for the rest of the UK, at least not as much as I remember.

I am not a big fan of high temperatures, I don't mind summers, but I would not like to live somewhere that is hot all the time.

I don't know about that, I think by the time you go there it will be deep in Moomin territory. :-)

Edit: Btw.. i got an interesting notification on steam a few ago concerning the Mad Max midweek madness and apparently steam messed up languages and i got a finnish notification saying: työviikon turmio...is that the same as midweek madness? Google translate calls it ruination of the working week which sounds a bit weird :)

Google translation is correct there...
