EndreWhiteMane: In the trailer it looks great right up to combat screens, then I can't follow the action at all. I'll have to see if I have something like this in my collection and try it. This one's a bit pricey to experiment with.

ElTerprise: That's why i got it :)
I could try to take a video of it when i'm playing - maybe that'll clear things up - that said i'm also not sure what and why i'm actually doing what i'm doing :)

Alright everyone. Think i'm going to sleep now. Wish you all a good night and see you later :)
Thanks. Sleep well. ;-)
Damn it. Stuck being indecisive again. I hate that. The only thing that lessens it somewhat is the fact that there's so much stuff to choose from.
*waves* One last check in for the time being... we'll be getting on the road in about half an hour.

Went to the hospital to see my grandfather today. I hadn't done this before because he was supposed to have come home and I get extremely uncomfortable in hospitals. (Long story; too many family members too soon at too young of an age passed away too quickly.) Told him we were heading home tonight and got told to "be good." Made him laugh when I said "I'll try." He's looking better, and more relaxed. We didn't talk to the doctor, but it seems like the pain diagnosis is gout after all, which, since he has diabetes, is super-extra-painful but looks to be improving quickly. He'll be moved to a local rehab (15 - 30 minutes away) within a few days, where he'll spend "some time" before coming home again, to get his strength back. I'm guessing "some time" is between "a few days" and "a week."

I get to do a ten-hour-ish drive very shortly..... yay. (Image the Python "Yaaaaaaaay" from Holy Grail here.) But at least I'll get to pass out in my own bed in the morning! And we'll have decent internet instead of slow crappy DSL, so there's that.

Has anyone played the Konung games? I think I have one through Fireflower, but I haven't played it. Those are the more interesting-looking ones to me in today's unexpected mini-flood. Of course, I still have to get through Day of the Tentacle, since soccorro was nice enough to gift it to me for my birthday and I was then unable to download it due the afore-mentioned DSL...

Anyway, I see that this week has been pretty long for several other people around here, too. I hope you're doing better (or, in Tom's case, will be doing better?).

*hugs* Off to do the last sweep through the house to try to avoid leaving stuff up here.

It sucks that he has to be kept longer, but at least it's not as bad as it could've been.

10 hours of driving...that sounds really shitty. You'll definitely be wanting that bed when you get back.

Haven't played it, but added it to my list. Figure I'll give it a try at some point.

Be safe out there, talk to you after you've gotten home and grabbed some sleep. =)

CarrionCrow: And this makes 100K...
Let's see if the forum explodes. >=)

Well...so much for that. -laughing hard-

Here's to the next hundred thousand. May all the good people still be here when it happens. (Because this is way, way, way easier than keeping track of everyone's email addresses. ;) )
Yay, Crow and everyone. Congratulations

And the forum is still working, hours later.

Hey there. =)

Yes, the forum is still alive and kicking, despite any weird amusement we might have gotten from making the whole thing crash. -laughs-

It's going into winter here, so no need to change it on my account. ;-)

If it's still cold there, then wait a while.

Hi Crow, happy to see you. Glad it's working so well, as trentonlf said, you are to be congratulated, and so are all the posters, especially the regulars. But you most of all, for steering the ship safely through all the reefs and obstacles. :-)

+1's for everyone I can find.

Waving hello to everyone who is reading this, hope you are doing well. And saying goodbye also, my free online time is almost up. :-(

I appreciate the compliment, but I can't honestly take credit for anything aside from making the thread. Everything else, its longevity, its environment, that's all a group effort involving every decent person who comes here.
I hate having to mention lag, but holy crap does the downloader generate it these days. -shakes head-
Morning everyone.

Lag in a downloader?

omega64: Morning everyone.

Lag in a downloader?
Good morning. =)

Specifically, it's causing all-around system lag. No idea why it's doing that now, but every time I use it my entire system slows down.

Try reinstalling it maybe? xD
I wouldn't even know what to do really.
Considering it's only the downloader that causes it.

At this point, I'm using it with the mental stipulation that it could decide to crap out permanently at any time.
It's not supported anymore, so official info won't happen. Fortunately, I only tend to use it for batches of files, not singles.
Happy Edible Book Day
*rolls eyes* 9__9

More importantly, good morning, and happy Friday :-)
