For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year, Best RPG.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has just been voted the Best RPG of 2015 and granted the ultimate gaming honor: Game of the Year. All in this year's The Game Awards gala in Los Angeles.

CD PROJEKT RED, our partners in crime, have also been voted Developer of the Year!

Combined with Golden Joystick Awards in the Ultimate Game of the Year, Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design, Best Gaming Moment, and Studio of the Year categories - high-fives are flying left and right, and there are plenty of smiles around.

So congratulations to this year's most beloved game developers! And a huge thanks to you guys, the gamers, for your undying support for the rebels, for all that is good in gaming.

I really didn't know what to expect from The Witcher 3. Making it open-world could have been disastrous for a studio that wasn't experienced in that sort of thing, but not only did it succeed, it raised my standards and made other big budget RPGs look like children’s toys in comparison. Its clear CD PROJEKT RED learned far more since the first Witcher beyond a design standpoint. The characters and writing are some of the best gaming has to offer. And in an age of micro-transactions and buggy releases, a complete experience was all topped off with heaps of free DLC and a sublime level of polish.

Congratulations, every one of those awards is deserved.

Congrats! Well done!

And I am glad the things that have been done here are recognized, like the game being DRM free and the DLCs were free for the purchasers of the game.

Congratulations CDProjekt RED for the 3 awards in The Game Awards 2015. You deserved it so much. It was so amazing to walk by the side of the white wolf and yours for all this years. I'm so proud to see the kind of developer/studio you guys has been become. Thank you for the moments and the memories. I'll wait with passion for your Cyberpunk 2077 and another games you'll want to do in the future.

CDPR was already developer of the year before they got some crappy award no one really cares about .
