GOG.com: Coming soon: The Throne
Am I imagining things or do these sprites look huge?
My first thought at seeing the screenshots was: are these zoomed in?

Not, that there's anything wrong with that, it's just noticeable.

It looks to be around the scale of if you tried to cram Castlevania IV onto a GBA screen, if that makes sense.
Needs a more anime style. It really doesnt stand out of the crowd. Though, if you can ride a hog as a mount in game ala Metal Slug mounts.....maybe ok.....
"Medieval" does not include orcs, magic or pretty much anything in this from what i can see.
About time those working on promo-copy at GOG started to proof read things. :/
Looks great to me. It does evoke memories of some of the best games of the 8-16 bit generations like the megaman series.

The sprites are indeed a bit bigger than I think they should be but still, the level of graphic detail would suffer if they were smaller. So at least they're prettier for it.

Seeing that the music has the signature of Juninho Afram was a nice surprise. He is an amazing guitarist but I haven't heard from him for a few years now and had no idea he was creating game soundtracks. Definitely a plus for me.

I'm always happy to see an interesting game coming from Brazil. Never heard from this studio, but if the price is reasonable on launch and the first few reviews don't trash it I'll buy it in short notice after the release.
What a lovely pixelart graphics ^_^
Visually speaking, the game looks atrocious. It's almost as if the graphics were made with AI. The sprites are messy, the FX are blurry the mix between this chunky pixel art and visuals FX doesn't blend naturally, and most all... The main character is TOTALLY PLAGIARIZED from Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Videogame!!! Some combo animations are almost exactly the same! Crappy money grab game incoming...
