Engineering a productive future.

Rise of Industry is coming soon to Games in Development, DRM-free on GOG.com.
There is no force in the universe more interested in pushing the world forward than the industrialist. In this upcoming tycoon game you become that force. Raising factories, setting up trade routes, researching new technologies or arranging transport for your raw materials is how you will expand your early 20th-century empire in this unpredictable, procedurally-generated world.

mqstout: I recognized the "Dapper Penguin" and was trying to remember where I saw it. This was formerly known as "Project Automata" when it was in its earlier stages, I believe.

Yes, the game was called Project Automata before making it public. I think the new name is a bit more fitting and easier to pronounce.

To address some concerns: there is a dynamic economy and town growth, and the main influences are indeed Industry Giant and Capitalism, plus Anno and Factorio. Artstyle is closer to SimCity 2k-3k. OTTD... not too much.

Wasn't easy, but it's important to not forget that there's more than just Windows users. Working on Mac support as well!

May I ask when the expected release date is? And how much will the release price be?

Plus I would recommend you to contact gog to get the yellow forum colour reserved for developers if you want to use it.

It's definitely better and while thinking about it I realize it's actually not that simple to find a good name for an economy simulation.
