Good moning all,

I need some definition info. When I enter my game (Grim Dawn) from GOG I get A "Play" button to start the game. To the right of that button is a legend that says "Cloud saves not synced". What does that mean?

I am running the game from tw computers. My PC and a laptop. I want the two devices to show the game equally. That is not presently true. They are not "Synced". How can I do that eaxh time I enter from either computer?

Thanks,

Bill

Have you activated the "Cloud Saves" on your Galaxy settings? Check if they're activated on Galaxy and your game in specific. Normally the cloud saves sync should work as soon as you quit the game (assuming that you've saved your state, of course).
Important to note, if your internet connection is poor, cloud saves may be adversely affected.

I don't understand the term "assuming that you've saved your state". How does one do that? I have been trying to respond to the two checkoff's that ask me to choose whether my computer or the cloud is more accurate. That didn't work. My laptop character trailes my identical PC character by one level. I am trying to sync them such that both characters are on the same page.

This kind of crap makes me hate computers.

Thanks for your help!

Good point. Yes, we have had some rough weather lately and my internet comes to me via a satellite so that could be an issue. I guess I'll just keep trying. I wish I understood the "cloud" better however.

Thanks for your help!

You are quite welcome. I am always happy to be of assistance. Distinguished from data saved on your computer, "Cloud Saves" store information on a server when sufficiently connected online. It may then be retrieved at a later time when online again and new information is then shared between your computer and the server and then summarily updated.
