babark: The interview quoted claimed it was to follow the themes of cyberpunk.
But please, please, please, I beg all those who feel it is 'pandering to people who don't even play games' to boycott the hell out of this game. Organise! Vote with your wallets! Show the man! etc. Please.
So that when the game sells a bajillion copies, we can put that myth to rest (again), and those dinosaurs can hopefully finally realise they're in the minority, and crawl back under their rock.
1st bit- Without proof that is just a claim and could be made to save face and hide the acrual reason just as likely as it could be the truth.
2nd bit- By pandering I meant pandering to those of us in the LGBT community and also those who support us/those who are more PC leaning, of course.
(And likely also to get good reviews from some review sites)
I also don't believe in boycotting over such small issues so i'm not one of them and won't be doing so.
3rd bit- What dinosaurs? The perpetually outraged at words or the perpetually outraged at others getting upset over words?

GameRager: Sounds good.....just make sure you don't make any sudden movements or you might rip the needle free of yer arm(I did that once in hospital IRL...twas not pleasant).
Lord_Kane: So did I, while prepping for a CT, I slipped and the IV with the dye ripped out.
Not. Fun.
I also once had an IV drip going with meds in hospital and I had to use the toilet. They couldn't take it out of my arm at the time(and likely didn't want to have to reset it after) so I had to carefully go without ripping it free...twas also very nerve wracking.
(Also enough talk about that in case we derail with talk of hospitals and IVs. :D)
