Yesterday I tried to buy CP2077 from gog but I was not willing to share my card information with google therefore I was unable to purchase three games.
Today I bought CP2077 along with collectors edition hardcover book/guide at gamestop in the usa, costed me over 100 USD.
Now I cannot get any help from gog; I tried, I'm getting anxiety just trying to redeem my code, the green button stays greyed out (very faint green button). Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!

It shouldn't stay greyed out. Anything I type in there I can click Continue and I get Code not found in red letters.

Maybe try doing so on a different device? If you have an old computer that you don't use anymore, boot it up, and try to input the code there. Or you can do it on a phone.

Or maybe try using a different browser.

Or try using the redeem button on GOG Galaxy app as opposed to browser (top left corner, settings menu, add games and friends, redeem a GOG code)

If you're not on the latest Chrome based or Firefox the Continue button won't get active (it was mentioned in the thread about the new redeem page that any Firefox based browsers won't work).

This probably means you're using something which is blocking the Google reCAPTCHA JavaScript, which unfortunately is required to run for you to be able to redeem any code here.

If you're using Firefox, click on the purple/blue shield icon in the location bar, and then where it says "Enhanced Tracking Protection is ON for this site", click on the toggle behind it to temporarily turn it off. That'll cause the page to be reloaded. Enter your code again, and now the button should turn green, with a high likelihood that you'll need to solve one or more of the stupid captcha image puzzles before being able to proceed.
If you don't use Firefox, or if you do but enhanced tracking protection isn't turned on, then it can still be a similar privacy feature; either an extension, or built into your browser. If you know how to turn it off, do so - otherwise please specify which browser and privacy-related extensions you're using so we can help.

If it indeed was recaptcha blocking you, please consider voting for this community wishlist item to tell gog how stupid their use of it is: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/nip_google_captcha_in_the_bud

It does point me to gogalaxy.com/yourcyberpunk to redeem it but I have no intention of ever using a client, I just bought over 100 usd worth of items along the code; not even a game inside. What is this? Some kind of a joke GOG/CDPR??
I cannot return opened box..

I cannot believe this I can not!!

I allowed recaptcha but I have not seen it after inputting code several times.

You don't need to worry - the galaxy client is not required to redeem the game.
https://www.gogalaxy.com/en/yourcyberpunk/#faq-6 says:
Can I install the game without installing GOG GALAXY 2.0?
[This option will be available upon the game’s release on December 10th, 2020.]
Yes, you can redeem the game code on www.gog.com, download a standalone offline Cyberpunk 2077 installer, and use it on your computer.

1. Go to www.gog.com/redeem.
2. Enter your game code and click “Continue”.
3. You will be prompted to log in, or create a free GOG account.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. When prompted, go to your games library.
6. Find Cyberpunk 2077 and click it.
7. Scroll down and click “DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS”.
8. Download all the installation files into the same folder.
9. Once all files are downloaded, find the executable (.EXE) file and launch it.

Feel free to back up these files for later use, if you wish.

If you allow recaptcha, does the button turn green? (for me it does so after typing a single character) If so, what exactly happens when you click it? Do you get an error message? Do you see the page reload?
Did you check that the code you're entering is exactly 18 characters long (not counting the dashes)?

firefox though I do not see a blue shield, I use noscript but I've allowed all except facebook.

no the 'next" button does not turn solid green

I need to go outside I'm too stressed out, not even one gog staff member contacted me yet just so you all know.
I need a break from claiming my game, this is a sad developement, i'm beyond disappointed CD Projekt Red.

That is so sucky. gog staff is super overwhelmed, which is understandable, but I very much understand your stress. Hang in there - it will work!

Just to make certain you're on the right page: You're on https://www.gog.com/redeem, right? (Because the green button says "Continue", not "next".)

FWIW, I personally block everything on that page with Ghostery (which simply blocks google tag manager, preventing everything else (hotjar, facebook, etc) from being loaded), and then the only additional thing blocked by Firefox Enhanced Tracking protection is recaptcha.net - that's the only thing I need to allow to be able to redeem codes. So I suspect you have some other general setting in noscript still somehow blocking a part of recaptcha functionality.

Maybe create a new Firefox profile, install ghostery in there instead of noscript, try redeeming that way, and then ditch that profile again?

Aw man, I know life can sometimes throw you a bad situation in the face, but you shouldn't just give up entirely because of that. Hold on to your purchase for a while and sent support a ticket if you havent already. They must be literally buried it them right about now, but eventually they will get to you and I'm sure they will help you.

Sorry about your Misiek, but I think you should put him back. Loving memory is better than blackness.

Thanks so Much! I've sent code to Adamh he'll know what to do with it.
Imho just wait for support to give you a new one even if it takes time.

Max you could try to find someone who wants to buy cyberpunk and use your code and if it works he/she can gift you a new code. But trust is needed
And use Opera that is the best browser atm :P
Hey! Please contact me via PM :)
