I want to search my games for specific things that appear in the store. For example, horror games.
I can't find a way, unless I go through each of my games and give specific tags, tags which already exist in the store...,

So, any suggestions?

Well THAT's pretty much why these tags exist. So that games can get tagged accordingly.

And since different people have different ideas as to what exactly certain tags refer to, respectively which tag(s) should be attached to which game(s)...doing it on your own is probably the best approach anyway.

I can understand that that requires a lot of work for someone with 1900+ games, but...if that is so important to you - maybe it's worth the work?
Well, BreOl72's argument would make a lick of sense if the tags on GOG made any sense. Personally, I think it's one of those areas where user interaction is a little lacking; seeing as I feel a collective of users and maybe one tag minister could organize things better than whatever mysterious system they're currently trying and failing to use.

It works for imageboards, and there's only a few scant thousand or so games here.

I see genres, and then under that you have tags, one of which is horror....

Though on this browser nothing comes up... though it says there's 21 games.

Filtering by store tags would be nice indeed

Since you can make any tag you can think of, feel free to only create tags that make sense (to you).

;o)

Did you read my original question?

Yes, and reread it just now. You can search for tags on games, and any you own already will crop up with 'owned'.

Not a perfect solution, but re-adding tags to match sounds like a waste of time, especially if you have 600+ games.

I don't think you understand my topic.

I want to be able to use the store tags such as Horror, in My Games.
The store and My Games do not share tags. So those tags do not show in My Games.
Your solution is not a solution, at all.

If i could modify the site to do everyone's wished whims, i would make the tags pseudo-shared letting you look for them using the store tags.

But alas i can't. So either you do all the extra work yourself or you use where the tags do work.

Why did you even reply to this thread in the first place when you had no actual relevant info to give?
Stop wasting my time.

Showing where you can search for store tags for specific game genres... Maybe it isn't the exact fit you wanted, but it's what you got unless you want to add all the tags to all your games.

Though you can always limit it to racing, simulation, adventure and a few others predefined...

I don't see how i'm wasting your time. As the old adage goes: It takes two to tango.

I mentioned that I want to search the list of MY GAMES with the same tags the store uses. I even gave a specific example, HORROR.
You replied by telling me how to search for them in the store.
You continue telling me this.
This is a waste of time. Stop replying to me.
I would block you if I had the option.
STOP REPLYING TO ME.
