I wanna try Cyberpunk but don't have the money right now, if a friend sends me the game and I execute it through GOG Galaxy, can I get banned?

Are you seriously asking about playing pirated version of game on of distributor's page?

Yes. That's software piracy, which is illegal.

It's also a breach of 11.1.h of the terms of service, which can result in a ban for both you and the person sending you the game (unless you've got a friend who is buying you a Cyberpunk code that you then redeem yourself and only you use that code/version of the game - however, given the price of Cyberpunk, I'm assuming nobody is that generous).

If you can't afford it, save up or wait for the game to go on sale. Nobody needs to play a game on release day.

If you're bored, there are plenty of free games or games currently on sale on GoG.

Thanks, then I'll save for it

I was really curious since the FAQ doesn't make it clear, it only says ''We trust you won't share it'' but nothing about ''You can get your account in danger by doing it'' or something like that

That's kind of dilemma like "if you know that nobody's watching and you can see the open door in a house would you go inside and get out with TV set?". Do you really need a warning about stealing?

it is not stealing, it is using a product you do not have the rights to, very different thing

For me using a product you do not have rights to is like stealing someone's intellectual property.

Thats fine , for me stealing is when the victim loses value. With just copy and use an app this is most of the time not the case.

No you're copying their "intellectual property". They don't lose anything.

Which is still not fine, because someone spent a lot of time and money creating the stuff and deserves a compensation.
