During this time, he created an account on twitter under the name "Marcelin Deschamps" (old-school French name) to somehow make a parody of the far-right by tweeting racist insults, etc. The thing is that while it could have been some kind of "temporary experience" (like journalists who make fake wikipedia pages just to prove that the system isn't perfect), he pushed it really far (50K tweets over the years) and by checking some of them, you could guess that the account became his "real" voice (like "kill all the whites", "death to Charlie" and so on which isn't the kind of stuff nationalists post). The story broke up (started by far-right activists) as he was featured this month on the cover of a high-profile magazine along with the former Minister of Justice.

This story goes well hand-in-hand with PewDiePie's case at questionings the line between humor (even if it can be tasteless) and real thoughts.
