The 7th Guest soundtrack was so special to me.

As one of the few truly breakthrough CD-ROM games it really showed off what that format could do. The Fat Man's varied tracks (spooky, dramatic, comic) were wonderful. I listened to that CD over and over, and still do to this day (on streaming now - I've long lost the disc!)
Gothic 1 soundtrack is going to forever stay with me.

Amazing mix of comfy, atmosphere, ambience and it fits the game perfectly. 1 hour old camp and swamp camp mixes on youtube are the best background music while working!
Final Fantasy Legend 2

It's early Uematsu at his absolute finest. The things that man did with the overly simplistic and basic sound chip on the gameboy still amazes me 30 years later.
Titan Quest

I love soundtracks that have a central theme that gets repeated in multiple variations throughout several tracks. The melody of the main track that plays during the credits of the original game (When Gods Fall) serves as the core of many of the tracks from the entire soundtrack, but always with a unique twist.

Other than that, some of the standalone tracks, I will remember forever. Like entering Athens, beginning your trek down the Silk Road, entering the palace city of Chang'an or the eerily charming tracks from Elysium in Immortal Throne.

EDIT:
Added some specific track names.

For me it's The Sims 1 soundtrack, especially the Build Mode piano songs. I'm still marveled by this soundtrack and didn't find anything so weird, varied but fitting in any other game.

Another contestant is the Warcraft II OST, which I find memorable and epic.

Not in for the contest, I will let whoever wants to win the Heroes of Might & Magic III vinyl disc win it.

I just want to say that vinyl discs with music still being manufactured and sold in 2022 since they were first manufactured since the late 1880's is just amazing.

Is this a cooperation with both gog.com and Ubisoft? I only see gog.com as the organizer.
For me it's the OST of Endless Legend, and for two reasons.
1. It is an absolutely stunning composition with such uniqueness and identity which I haven't heard in gaming since Romero with the music of the HOMM series. The theme of the Allayi still gives me goosebumps.
2. I listened to that while reading The Lord of the Rings for the first time, and those tunes gave the scenes such a feeling and power. Different from the movie soundtrack, but still very good.
I have to say that my favorite would be Final Fantasy VI. Something about the songs just stick with me.
The Shovel Knight : Treasure Trove has a very special place in my heart, the fact that the game kept bringing me back to him with every new campaign, adding new musical arrangements for every levels and every boss is really impressive and I keep listening to it every other day
The WItcher OST was the first video game soundtrack that I burned onto a CD, as well as put into my phone, in order to listen while outside my home. It is the type of soundtrack that if you close your eyes while listening you will be instantly transported to another place and time.

This soundtrack was emotionally charged. A supporting character in the game that was thought out as well as any of the other characters. At times it makes you feel haunted and sad for the races in this world of which you are playing. There are tracks that are so action/energy filled that I could have went to the gym and would have been right home syncing up with the tunes.

The inspired music is marvelous also. Vader's "Sword of the WItcher" is one that will still earworm my brain if I think on it too much.

I still have this OST on my phone and listen to it once every few months.

Amazing.
I'm reading all these posts and thinking, "Yea that one was great. Ooohh, that one too." But my favorite one is still WoW's invincible- Arthas's theme.

also, is the contest description correct in the blue post? Says something about a coop game suggestion for the release party. All other info says to name a soundtrack
Hollow Knight

The soft, mostly sad and melancholic, but never to cliché soundtrack is as much a part of the game's great atmosphere as the outstanding art design. That a game soundtrack is so finely composed and conveys such a mood, especially through the piano-heavy pieces, is unfortunately a rarity in games. The fact that the wistfully sad mood is interrupted again and again by unexpectedly lively pieces makes the soundtrack as a whole even more special for me.

The Hollow Knight OST is not only a great game soundtrack, but also incredibly good music on its own. Rarely do you find such clearly and impressively transported motifs and moods in modern compositions as in Greenpath and City of Tears.

Despite several playthroughs in the game, I have to admit that some pieces have remained even more clearly in my memory than the individual, beautiful levels themselves.
Hard to choose, but I have to go for Warcraft 2. Sone classics i still hum out of nowhere.
