I would recommend Darker than Black too.

Cambrey: I would recommend Darker than Black too.
Darker than Black is indeed a great series to watch and one of the few I love the Dub version more than the Sub. I watched season 2 in Sub (Japanese), though I'm really hoping to watching it in Dub. Come to think of it, I haven't checked FUNimation lately to see if they actually did Dub it.

Thanks for the reminder. :)

Time4Tea: I've watched the first 2 episodes of Cowboy Bebop so far and have to say I am thoroughly unimpressed. Episode 2: so another random, throwaway villain steals someone's dog and the two bounty hunter dudes (that I'm so emotionally uninvested in, I can't even remember their names) have to chase all over town to track it down. So far it seems quite formulaic and predictable, with very little character development. It's got absolutely nothing on Stein's Gate, imo.

Lately, I've been watching Record of Lodoss War, which I've been enjoying quite a bit. It's old, but seems well-made and fun. Also quite unpredictable, with some interesting twists and turns. Good show.

arrua: To me, by far, the best episode of Cowboy Bebop was the 5th one. I love the music. The ending in the church was great.

Redline, a 2009 film directed by Takeshi Koike, is a great great great film about sci-fi racing. Must watch in a big screen with the lights off. A great shot of adrenaline.
When I saw the trailer of "Redline" I thought "Yay! That's Wipeout: the anime series" :-D

What? This one?

I don´t get it. Tthe film is crazy, I don´t know if that´s what you mean. It reminds me of Wacky Races on asteroids and those kind of things. And I love it. XD

Anyway, now that you pointed out Wipeout (and I duckduckgo-ed it). I advise you to try to find and watch Takeshi´s Castle. If you have never watched it. know that that´s the original, the source of everything. Always remember. When in doubt, if it is crazy, japan did it first and better.

Honestly don't find any similarity between WipeOut and Takeshi's Castle (which has had an extensive run in Italy, only in a localized version, so I thought for years that it was another show). Wacky Races is more on the comedic side than WipeOut (and probably than Redline, which I believe to be absurd but somewhat serious)

Now I see the missunderstanding. I didn´t know anything about Wipeout and checked imdb and found this.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13117230/?ref_=ttmi_tt

And you ment a series of videogames. Which I just found out now duckduckgo-ing it more in depth.

Let´s pretend that people pretend to ignore these messages. XD

The videogames look lots of fun.

Yep. We've kinda PMd in the last two posts :-/ It's so easy these times to be misunderstood *and* misunderstand.
WipeOut is a bit like Rollcage (same software house) or a sci fi Demolition Derby.
I personally raccomand DethKarz, which is also on GoG and sometimes gets discounted, and is an old love of mine
(very hard, however)

As far as comedy animes, it's one of the best and what a whacky sense of humor the creators must possess lol.

I'd love to see Kazuma and the girls come back for another season, but I don't think that's going to happen. Ah well.

The Konosuba mobile game (Gacha) can be pretty funny too. You really feel the character love

As far as humor and fantasy go, I would recommend Slayers. That's an all-time classic. If you aren't afraid of more 20-year old graphics that is.

I've watched Slayers and it was fun to watch. There are a lot of classics I'll never be able to forget. :)

If I'm not mistaken, they have 2 seasons (or maybe 3?) of it right?
