Every time I find a thread about G2A, something bad happened and something simple seems hard to be resolved, because (shaddy) reasons... (¬_¬)

Even though I've never bought something from there, this only confirms that I should be avoiding that place like the plague, to avoid a headache and a scam. And the rest of the people should do the same. G2A or sites like that one should not be supported, period. No respect or guaranties for their customers at all, and paying extra "to get support" is just ridiculous, and has been proven that doesn't help at all on G2A (>_<)

G2A is so bad, that developer of Defender Quest asks people to pirate his game instead of buying it there. Because when you buy it on G2A, dev does not see a cent from it and you paid for a stolen game. Loss for everyone but G2A stealing shitfolk.

that even makes the company sound more shady.... because we in america had factories move to china for cheaper products, i mean G2A was already shady now it's even more shady then it was before because not all laws effect other countries and people will turn away with a blind eye if the price is right..

You see a thread where basically all participants are hostile towards you guys, OP describes how he became a victim of your shitty business practices, some people are wondering where your company is based because they are frustrated or at least confused by your apparent legal immunity and you think "good lord, I need to end this confusion concerning the location of our headquarters!"? How do you even get there?! And no, I'm not asking for directions to your headquarters.

I think that dev is hyperbolic about how he makes piracy sound as though it is difficult to do (it's not), and that pirated content is full of malware (malware-infested content is easy to avoid), and that piracy has a moral cost (a lot of times it has none, i.e. games that are off the market and unobtainable other than by piracy), and that piracy carries a lot of legal risk (that is also easy to avoid).

Other than those flaws, that's an insightful article.

No way could you make anywhere near as good a movie about G2A as Thank You For Smoking.

We know quite a bit about you. More than you actually. Like how you built your empire on stolen goods and fraudulent transactions, scamming users on a case by case basis by not refunding or replacing them (you were able to skim a lot of money due to your volume of victims), and then how after all of the ripping off of developers you had the nerve to welcome them to your platform. That's like me robbing your house and saying "hey, why don't you just give me all your stuff legit and you'll get some of the profits? I've already made a ton of money from it anyway when you weren't authorizing me to."

It's very amusing watching you guys squirm. You deserve all of the bad rep you've gotten and it's a wonder you haven't been shut down. At least pirates don't profit off of their misdeeds. You pretend that you're doing nothing wrong with every post being a horrible attempt at naivety, innocence, and "professionalism" (we're only here to help! totally not trying to do damage control).

Besides losing you customers, I've made sure that companies that have ever supported you have also lost thousands of dollars. Publishers wanting high prices for their games aren't what's wrong with the gaming industry, you guys are.

Glad you liked it. I don't think he is that much hyperbolic though. As I am not sailing the seven seas nowadays, I really don't know how would I avoid malware in pirate sites, or what sources are safe, where should I search and what to avoid. I even don't know anyone reliable who could instruct me about these things. There is definitely more effort in obtaining pirated stuff than buying it online. It's maybe easy for some educated people, but definitely not for all.

Buying online from legal sources can be a huge pain in the rear as well.

I.e. If the credit card bank (and/or Paypal etc.) doesn't like the IP address from which the end user conducts the transaction, then the bank will often automatically block that transaction from going through.

And/or the credit card bank's security verification system can fail to work as it's supposed to, and therefore automatically block the transaction for that reason too.
