I understand that unless you purchase Shield you are left at the mercy of the seller to refund

But several times now myself and some friends have had our tickets requesting refund from the sellers (for used keys)
deleted before the message even reached the seller.

The site is always begging people to offer advice and praise but then they go and
pull underhanded s**t like this.

I guess that's the benefit of running a known risky shop from from Hong Kong...none of the people you're ripping
off can afford to the plane ticket to shoot up your office and there's no sympathy for failed purchases because everyone
knows key purchasing / trading in forums or from stores is high risk.

I feel bad for those duped f***s buying $60 + games from that site.

I think their all time low was when they sent a rep in here, yes an actual rep, to assure us they have NEVER sold any stolen or bogus codes and that they were a certified re-seller of GOG products.

That begs the question: why are you still buying from a shop that you yourself describe as "Known risky shop"?

^This! Better wait for a sale. There are enough around anyway.

They did?
I think the lowest point of the existence is when they opened. The site epitomises the shadiness, underhand, black marketing associated with "key-sellers" and why anyone in their right mind should avoid them.

I don't. I feel bad for the devs, publisher and legitmate stores that lose money because of that shithole, but it's customers? I hope they lose every single game bought there. Fuck them, and the cheap-ass shady re-sold horse they rode in on.

Her name was Stephanie or something. Several of is thought it was just a troll but I googled her and found her all over the web and at G2A in stuff like announcements, FAQs
Back in the day I kind of got why people would buy from G2A, back when they sold keys for like 10% of the retail price.
Probably buying them in Russia or something.
It was a bit of a gamble, but if you lost at least it wasn't much.
But nowadays the keys are the same price as legit deals from real stores.
There are also other site like G2A to keep away from. You ever stumble upon or hear of this site run the other way and avoid it: kinguin.

It blows my mind that people use them. Games when I was a younger man were cheap when they were $10. Today, you can literally spend no money and be satisfied for the rest of your life as far as video games. And you can budget just a few dollars to get some great games.

So buy legit, spend a few extra dollars, and ignore all the stress from purchasing from the shady world.
How many times are you going to buy from G2A and have issues, all of which have been clearly pointed out in your various other threads about G2A/key resellers, before you figure out they're not legit and just stop using them?

You're absolutely right. You'll get no sympathy at all from any of us for instance. At this point, when you buy from G2A and it blows up in your face, there is exactly one person to blame: you. And even when you don't get screwed over, you are helping them screw over others. So no, you won't get any sympathy.

I love G2A bash threads. XD

It's one of the few places in here where those of us who normally despise each other can all come together for a common good.
Perhaps sites like this get attention from buyers through their connection to various entities with sponsorships and such.
TotalBiscuit made a good video on G2A. I think perhaps many don't realize what is shady and what is not.
