Considering we've reached "TinyE just quit" level o things having gone to shit, I think you might be on to something.

That said, I really don't see why would anyone care about downvoting anymore. Rep means absolutely nothing, and everyone knows it. The low rated posts aren't even hidden unless you personally downvoted them, so who cares?

I told this once to our friend "Gunsynd" and i'll tell it to you, it doesn't matter, people would make fake accounts just to downvote anyway, all you would see would be "This post was downvoted by AasdDSAD, DSADSAQW, 13dDWDa, ASDASD2, etc".

People also don't realize that it isn't only "Nes" downvoting people, there are others around here that also use multiple accounts to do so, even to manipulate the opinions or just to harass, at least you can point a finger to "Nes" but those others... well... you can have an idea of who they are but never be sure.

I admire your determination, but I figure the people that are carpet bombing downreps won't listen to this request at all. In fact, you'll more than likely draw them into the thread.

On a side note, when I saw the thread, my first thought ran to Frank Herbert's Dune, since there was mention of Sufi masters in that series (as well as the Zensufi religion).

They already started to, that's why i posted. if it had remained quiet, I would have too.
