Thanalis: So... turned 35 years old and not much to show for it. How many people have made it past this point and have come to terms with how it will end up?
Heeey? What do you mean, "end up"? With modern (or even better researched upon ancient) medication, 35 is not even the middle life expectancy for a human, yet! At 35, life usually BEGINS!
People who "come to terms" are wrong. Willpower alone can work miracles (within well placed, reasonable borders, of course)! NEVER come to terms with anything, son! Keep envisioning yourself younger and vigorous increasingly and progressively! And do start exercising. From simple looks to actual body condition, if done correctly, it takes you at least a decade back!
My grandmaster is 80, with painted pink hair and works out more harshly than your average teen. Where is your spark, your determination? Do you accept old timers to shine and pack a punch even, while you "come to terms with how it will end up"? Go hunt some cougars, or even better, little pussies (M E O W)... There is no stronger tonic than being reassured and reinforced by cute little things. You need a restart. On many levels.
Also, as others confessed, for "reasons", i myself too was left irreparably and irredeemably far behind, in both studies and work. There is no use crying over spilt milk, anyway. I just found out what was wrong (even if from others' doing), grit my teeth, recalibrated myself, forced an entire system restart and went out to wrestle my own life out of the hands of my enemies. Their doing even forced me to loose a job/relationship or two in the process but i didn't paint things black. I simply changed direction, constantly try new things and experiment on other ones. Somehow, i aim to reach a place beyond their reach, in which they are going to have zero authority over, so i can settle down, make a living and (hopefully) make a family. AMBITION, even a simple or childish one- those without it, or any other motivation, will be lost. Don't...
