undeadcow: Typically you can redeem each item in a gift purchase separately so multiple users can redeem unclaimed portions. Codes are valid indefinitely. Seems you have a solid plan.

godtrams: I have 30h time left, not 3 min as you needed for your answear ;) Thank you very much, highly appreciated and positive rated. You said 'typically', maybe someone here has already buyed an actual bundle as a gift and can confirm the 'couple' codes? Btw., great forum, I must say.
Let's use an example. Suppose you want to buy the "Best of Bullfrog" bundle which consists of Dungeon Keeper 1+2, Theme Hospital, Syndicate Plus and Syndicate Wars, but you are not interested in any of the Syndicate games. After making a purchase as a gift, you will receive a gift code that contains all the 5 games. Unfortunately, it is only one giftcode, which can't be manually separated (you would need to contact support to do that, but it's not guaranteed that they will do that). Fortunately, the giftcode can be used more than once.

After using the code for yourself, you get the option to redeem any of the five games available in it. You decide to redeem three of the games (Dungeon Keeper 1, Dungeon Keeper 2, Theme Hospital) and not to redeem Syndicate Plus and Syndicate Wars. Your code will now contain only the Syndicate games. Now, assuming you can trust others, you could theoretically send the code to one person to redeem Syndicate Plus and to another to redeem Syndicate Wars.

Any codes purchased (paid with money, that is) do not have an expiration date.
I assume once the 20 hours runs out, the sale is over? Airing on the side of caution, I *assume* we won't get any new LucasArts games tommorrow, but if so it'd be nice to have another countdown timer for that or even a "Come back tomorrow for excitement"-type hint.

Do not dare to conjure the devil of digital collection cards...

Ultima bundle or not the Ultima Bundle, that is the question. Am I that hardcore?

So when exactly does the sale end? Ie: when do I start buying?

I was wrestling with that very question earlier, myself; I wish I had some useful advice for you. Ultimately (no pun intended), I decided it'd be a little while before I would even have time to get into those, so I held off for now.

Grargar:
Snap, I keep forgetting TOMORROW is Nov 25th. I kept thinking Tuesday was the 24th. My bad.
They should keep / take over some colours from the BFS mainpage background, that two weeks were a bit refreshing to the look of "now all have to be grey"-gog, since the topbar is still uninspired & lifeless to me.

And it's still too broad. >:-P

amund: I'm currently playing A Golden Wake and it works just fine on widescreen for me, just like previous Wadjet Eye games. The games are pixelated, you can set it to only run in its max resolution but then you get black borders or you can play in window mode. There are Anti-Aliasing options but I think it makes things look blurry and text is harder to read.
Thanks. That doesn't sound convincing. Too much "retro" for me. They just should re-release their games with a proper graphics resolution someday. ;)

gamefood: On higher resolutions they're even MORE pixelated! :P
No money from me then, I'll pass on that bundle. :P

It's a style that's come out that is intended to be pixelated - I doubt they will change the art style any time soon :)

Depends on your play style, however you might be interested to look at ones like Blackwell on Android - smaller screen size etc does make a difference and results in crisper graphics. Don't know much about A Golden Wake yet, however the Blackwell ones have a decent story.

I know, it's art. Hence the "Too much retro for me". :) It's just really not my thing. It doesn't get into my mind how you can make games with such a lousy resolution in 2010+. Otherwise the games seem to be good. I was looking at Gemini Rue and others of their games about every time they were on sale and tried to convince myself to buy them. But the low res graphics always blew me off. So my last hope was that there is some setting or any other trick to get the games running in a higher res version.

And thanks for your hint to the Android version. But I prefer to play games on a real screen with proper input devices. :)

Thanks GOG for the nice promos in this Big Fall Sale ... however I do have a question: will you have some deals on Black Friday as well? :)
Thanks for the nice sale GOG, also thanks again for the freebies. :) Got more gaming ahead of me...
I know this is a common theme for me but BOLLOCKS!

I had been going to buy the two Wadjet games I didn't have from that bundle and the Spiderweb bundle. Even had them in my cart, and was all set to buy them at ~2:30 CET and had to sort out a fight between my kids, then forgot to come back till 3:40, 40 minutes too late.

One day I'll learn to actually buy things I want straight away. *curses under breath like Mutley*

Regardless, thanks for a great sale.
