Just finished Q.U.B.E. this morning. My son really got into it, and the difficulty was low enough that he could follow along pretty happily, making suggestions. Had I played it alone, I might have been indifferent. But his excitement was infectious, and I'll remember it as an enjoyable game.

Blocks That Matter is excellent fun, somewhat marred by occasional twitchy and out-of-place speed levels. I think they're skippable.

Tetrobot & Co. was fantastically buggy (unable to be completed) when released here on GOG. It has since been patched. Many avoidable bugs remain, but I'd still recommend it, I think. The puzzles are clever and well thought out.

I don't know about the other two games in the puzzle bundle*, but on the strength of these three I reckon it's worth it.

*which will probably reappear at the end of the sale.

DuskBlade: I kind of want to buy the Mystified Bundle, but I'm not sure if they would really appeal to me. Does anyone have a convincing argument for buying them?
avatar
stevieknix: Look how cheap they are. They're so cheap you are losing money by not buying them.
look at the price
do you like the type of game?
how many games? 1,2 or 3 or more?

if its 2 tot 3 games and you like the gametype and the price is 2 bucks, buy it
it all depends on what the normal price was.

I mentioned before in a topic that i have a price in my head for games that i am willing and able to spend.
Ofcourse skies is the limit and mine is lower, i guess 25 bucks tops will be the price i pay for a a game.
So when i see a game i like, i check the default price, the current price and how many games it has (bundle)
then its a matter of dividing and your done.

spiderwebsbundle 6 games i guess it were? was 5 or 6 bucks, so i bought them, but i also like the game types ofcourse :D
Unless its 40 cent or 99 cent then i will buy a game provided its no 3d FPP.
I saw a 49cent game on steam.... The Tiny Bang Story havent played it yet, at 49 cents who cares if its dog doo
cause if i bought a stale donut i also lost .

also this one, got me the demo of Two Worlds II Castle Defense (DRM loaded , brr gives me the creeps, but i like towerdefense) game was normally 9.99 thats no way, at 99 cents i had to have it

So it all depends on factors.
Curiosity is one of them ( i know: curiosity killed the cat)
but i am and old dog so... :D

roflbobby: I just logged in to find the Mystified Bundle! Seems like not much has changed with flash deals, but the Myst series is an very welcome offer.
Definitely going into the basket :).

I figured it'd turn up eventually as a bundle because it had multiple games in the series.
How long has GOG been advertising on Mobygames? I was just there and noticed a "Spotlight" near the top of the screen promoting "GOG's big fall sale".

That banner usually contains info about new entries and promos.
The main problem about Mobygames is rather that has been abandoned by the main contributors after the old "incident", so all the new games are missing or don't contain any rating\comment : (

Great game, I don't think you will regret it. : - )
GOG's version is also the definitive one. Compared to the one released on Steam it has way more extras. The soundtrack alone is worth buying it from here. (I did the same after I had played it on Steam). Loved it, it is beautiful.

What was the "old incident"?
Am I the only one waiting for a Broke Sword bundle?
Welp bought Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams now too... feels like a black hole is sucking up all my money.

Oooo, a movie package! My backlog and I must think on this.
I'm actually thinking about getting the movie bundle, some stuff in there I wouldn't mind watching. Any thoughts on the included films?
Just the other day I was complaining about how the bundles had not been to my taste, then BAM! The adventure bundles started to roll out. First Deponia, then Myst, now Tex... only Broken Sword and Gabriel Knight left now. =)

Also, I wouldn't mind a Stalker or Prince of Persia bundle as well...
