Dogmaus: A favourite hobbies of mine are drawing and running - preferably barefoot!
Forum search is awful and I can't find specific posts I've made! Thank you for the trust.
Not a problem.....entered and Good luck to you too.

(Also thinking of someone drawing and running barefoot makes me giggle for some reason. :D)

Thank you for the ever-so-much-more-so appreciated chance! (Do you get the reference to the sequel to one of the best childrens/ya fiction of all time? Maybe your parents would?)

Entering for the $10, if I might, and as an example of a long-ago post, I love the flavour of this game, but especially the N2 bit. :D

Hobbies include reading (I love books, as you might have known), classic (Black & white "Golden Age") movies and radio, as well as occasionally digging out the model train and running it around the family room floor.

Very generous, ty!

Can I be tentatively in for prize #1? At the moment, there's only 2 games I want to play immediately enough to buy/bid on, and they're only under $10 if on sale:

1) Swords and souls
2) Dishonored - Def Edition (new!)

If none of those are on sale when the contest closes, I'll pass ;)

In terms of entry:

a) Hobbies...well, I mostly play games and parent, when not working. I think games is really the only hobby in there, but I did make an IRL jigsaw puzzle this weekend (1008 pieces), which was fun.

b) https://www.gog.com/forum/general/forum_mafia_38_murder_on_the_wing_game_thread/post1

thanks!
I'm in for the $10 prize.

My favorite game is Thief II: The Metal Age and my hobby is collecting toys (Action Figures, Hot Wheels, Pez Dispensers etc.) Some vintage, some new. I also play a lot of video games. :)

Not a problem. :)

Also the piece of media that's from escapes me...is it Mary Poppins perhaps?

That "ticket" for entry to the contest also appears valid....entered and Good Luck. :)

I am not so much into radio, and read more rarely nowadays(due to poor memory sometimes making it a chore to remember some of what i've read before if I put down a large book for a good while and ALSO because I got burnt out reading way too many books in the past too quickly o.0), but I love reading sometimes and also many old B&W comedies/thrillers/scifi films/etc.

To be clear I will be awarding the games around the 1st of March or a bit after that, so I take it you mean if they are on sale at that time>

Also if not you can always give your entry/win(if you win) to the other entrant of your choosing(in the same prize entrant pool). Sound good?

If so, I will put you in the first prize entrants pool. :)

Sounds nice and your "ticket" to enter(forum game post) checks out. :)

Thank you!

It is a parody of a bit from Robert McCloskey's Centerburg Tales, the sequel to his masterpiece of ya fiction Homer Price. You can still buy them cheaply on Amazon, and maybe they are in your local library. Totally worth reading them, and they are quick, enjoyable, and comedic reads, too.
I highly recommend them, even if you don't do a lot of reading today. :D

Ah, that is one reason I prefer fiction to textbooks/too deep/sluggy NF books. I myself prefer the musicals and the comedies/rom-coms form the Golden Age of movies to the scifi/horror and even many of the mysteries/thrillers.

I see you're a man of good taste(I also love that game a lot). ;)

That entry is valid and works for this contest....entered and good luck. :)

I like a bit of all of em, tbh....one of my favorites is Arsenic and Old Lace, and another is Mr Blandings builds his dream house.

As for long stuff, I even mean fiction....I would get those bulky but good suspense/conspiracy type thrillers/etc with over 500 pages and also get like 2-3 at one time and over time I burnt myself out a bit.....now I cut back and read a bit more sparingly. :)

I saw Mr Blandings once at my Grandparents and adored it. I recently saw and enjoyed Pot O' Gold 1941.

I get what you mean. Thankfully the two Homer Price books (in paperback) are each under 1/2" thick (about 1cm) and about 190 pages of light reading.

Speaking of Irish themed films, check out(or re-watch some more) this film: Darby O'Gill and the Little People. A great little comedy with some serious bits and some very good moments. :)

Yup, these ones I read were more the 1 1/2-2 inch "monsters" that take a good amount of time to read....though they were fun(the first ones in the one series) so I gave some more of them a shot. :)

Yes, if they are on sale at that time - otherwise I don't want to make you wait around until some theoretical future date, and doubt you would want to. ;)

In that scenario I'm fine if you want to pick the replacement, but if you want me to designate my deputy I'll pick Micro.

thanks!

Well ME picking one's nomination(in such cases if they choose not to accept their prize/win) wouldn't be very sporting now would it? ;D

As such, I put down Micro along with your name, and if you win it's up to you how we proceed when it comes time to award that prize. :)

Np.....entered and Good Luck to you as well. :)
